Meet the Authors
Andre Collins
André Collins is the Founder of Eclectic Soul Entertainment and co-founder of APB Media. André has dedicated his life to music and entertainment producing several music and video projects.
Prior to his life in multi-media entertainment, André had a tremendous athletic career. He held multiple Ohio track and field records as well as being a stand-out defensive back for the prestigious Archbishop Moeller High School where he still holds the record for most interceptions returned for touchdowns. André went on to become a graduate of the University of Louisville, where he was a letter winner as a member of the Football Team.
After Louisville, André went on to pursue a second degree in Audio and Video Production from Radford University in Radford, Virginia. After several years in the music industry, André made the decision to go back to school again, this time getting his Master’s degree in Sport Administration from Belmont University in Nashville, TN.
André still works as an accomplished songwriter and producer in the music industry. He also co-hosts a podcast entitled “The Gray Matters” as well as serves as a consultant to several businesses on their marketing and schematics development.
André is a dedicated Husband and Father. He has 4 children. (Jazz, Joelle, Jiselle, and Dubois)
Carlos Collins
Carlos Collins is the Founder and CEO of P2P consulting, a high school athletic consulting firm that specializes in helping high school athletes leverage their athletic talents on the field and their academics in the classroom to find the best fit for them collegiately.
Prior to starting P2P, Carlos had a decorated athletic career. He is in multiple Ohio high school athletic Halls of Fame including the prestigious Archbishop Moeller High School Hall of Fame for his outstanding career as an All-American running back at Moeller. Carlos went on to become a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where he was a four-year letter winner as a member of the Football Team.
Carlos’ passions include helping athletes who:
- Need to develop the mental health necessary to excel at the next level of their sports careers.
- Strive to improve their physical health and sports-specific IQ.
Are searching for scholarships and may need support with the application process. - Wish to develop a personal brand, NIL strategy, or career-related opportunities.
Outside of sports, Carlos is a proud husband, father, and grandfather. His daughter, Cierra, plays soccer for Mississippi State University, and his Son-In-Law, Yusef Corker, plays for the Cincinnati Bengals.
